Speaking at a Democratic National Convention breakfast this morning, Harpootlian gleefully Godwinned himself for a cheap and sleazy laugh at the expense of Gov. Nikki Haley.
On Gov. Nikki Haley participating in daily news briefings in a basement studio at the NASCAR Hall of Fame: “She was down in the bunker a la Eva Braun.”
Braun, along with her lover Adolf Hitler, committed suicide in a bunker as World War II was coming to an end.
Reporting on the absurd comparison, South Carolina newspaper The State described Harpootlian as “never [at] a loss for a quick quip.” Harpootlian’s despicable “quips” have included calling Haley “the gubernatorial equivalent of the ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey” and comparing her to Snooki and the Kardashians.
