Apparently there has been a back and forth between Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent and malignant dwarf, Professor Robert Reich. Economics is not our strong suit so we'll let smarter minds have that discussion. But this writer's specialty is clever mockery. Behold.
Once again, the professor has come up short…

His latest screed is an impressive display of economic prestidigitation.
He concedes that wages are growing faster for low-income workers and then attempts to bury that dispositive fact beneath nearly 2,000 words.
Bank of America… https://t.co/JGSZt09dRf
The rest of the Tweet.
data show that spending among lower- and middle-income households has converged toward levels at the top as they lead labor market gains.
Professor Reich has a documented history of “inventing dialogue” when the truth doesn’t fit his narrative, a habit that forced him to rewrite his memoir after the media exposed his fabrications.
Burger King appears not to be the only one who peddles “Whoppers.” As I do not like “punching down,” this will be the last response to his four-decade pattern of packaging falsehoods as fact.
We've followed Reich enough to know that he's the kind of ideologue who is so committed to the Narrative that lying is not a problem.
People are praising Bessent's gift with words.
"Prestidigitation," properly using "data" as a plural noun, the "punching down" pun—not only should Scott Bessent remain Treasury Secretary forever; he should also take over all Republican speechwriting. https://t.co/WyiZvlEo5P

He teaches at @UCBerkeley. You will have to give him the definition of "prestidigitation."

Yes, we had to look it up too.
Others just loved the jabs at Reich's stature.

😂 Well played, sir
Come up short ….. is the gayest best bitch slap opener today

You were speaking over his head. Literally. It's inevitable.

Honestly, coming up with these puns is quite easy, not even a stretch.
I keep hearing that the students at UC Berkeley can't even do simple arithmetic. Why should we even listen to you if your schools student's can do 8th grade math?

And did you not concede that wages are growing faster for low-income workers and then attempts to bury that… pic.twitter.com/AvgJIll0MA
If economics is your thing, here is the argument in a nutshell.
Never thought I’d see the day when the baddest, most based cabinet member would be the Treasury secretary. Yet, here we are. pic.twitter.com/9Aw8KOEOVx

Baddest? Yes! But the based appellation belongs to Marco Rubio.
Mr. Secretary, you never disappoint.

Thank you for your service to our country while putting up with the nonsense.
Most of all, thank you for the steady stream of quality entertainment.
On this, we strongly agree.
