P.J. O'Rourke once wrote "if you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it's 'free'."
The same can be applied to "free" college, lunches, and many other promises Democrats like to make.
On occasion a media outlet will unwittingly help point that out, and such was the case when a "free lunch" headline was spotted:
This headline is hysterical. https://t.co/MRsiNU8epX

This is just perfect, and the word "free" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here:

Do people at the "Learing Center" also get those really expensive "free" lunches?
Higher than anticipated costs? In a Minnesota-run welfare program? Surely you are mistaken

"The cost of 'free' has risen to unsustainable levels" is unintentionally hilarious.
Costs rise beyond early projections. Lol who could have seen that coming?

The cost of family medical leave has risen beyond projections
The cost of minimum wage hikes has risen beyond projections
What cost in Minnesota has not risen beyond projections? https://t.co/K5cmuApXTn
The cost of fraud is also out of control.
