Attorney general Loretta Lynch said Sunday morning that there would be no conflict of interest associated with the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server. The potential conflict in question is related to the fact that Obama, the chief executive, has endorsed Clinton in the presidential race.

Here is what she said on Fox News Sunday:
“We’ve got career agents and lawyers looking at that. They will follow the facts and follow the evidence wherever it leads and come to a conclusion,” Lynch said. “This is not a conflict for me or for the department or for anyone.”
Well that’s that. A member of the administration has proclaimed that the administration has no conflicts of interest. No oversight needed.
