#NeverTrump. & #NeverHillary. So: We must a) defeat Trump for nomination or b) run a credible independent candidate. https://t.co/a7Bt9uKED9

Over the weekend, the New York Times reported that Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol has “circulated a memo to a small number of conservative allies” outlining how a conservative like former Texas Governor Rick Perry could mount a third-party challenge to Donald Trump in November:

According to Kristol, this is “Track Two” in case Ted Cruz doesn’t get the nomination:
This is Track Two, just in case. Track One is to stop Trump within GOP, where he's getting only 37% of vote. https://t.co/hpXjHOUaxN

But Jeff Miller, former campaign manager for Ted Cruz, has a question for Kristol and his new love of Rick Perry: where were you when it counted?
With all due respect to @BillKristol and donors who have called. Where were you when @GovernorPerry was actually running for POTUS

Burn.
And here’s an even bigger problem for the Kristol plan — Perry doesn’t want to run:

What’s “Track Three”?
