No, LA Protesters: I Respect the Marines, Not You, Because They Earn It and You Haven't

AP Photo/Bullit Marquez

There have been many disgraceful images and videos coming out of Los Angeles during the past week or two. No matter how much Karen Bass, CNN, and MSNBC want to call everything happening there 'peaceful' (and hoo-boy, are they doing that a LOT!), we all trust our eyes and ears more than their lies.

But the video below, while non-violent, might be the one that has pissed me off the most.

A young Marine, sent into Los Angeles by President Trump and Pete Hegseth to guard a federal building, is simply standing his post when he is accosted by a whining protester who 'demands' answers, tries to insult the Marine, and claims to be 'disrespected.' Watch:

This individual claims to be a union worker, but based on his haircut and fanny pack, he is probably in a teachers' union at best, or maybe he's an SEIU activist. Certainly, he's not doing a hard-working union job.

Kudos to the Marine for maintaining his calm and composure and not giving the adult toddler standing in front of him even the courtesy of sustained eye contact.

You want to know what skills he is learning in the Marines? How about the skill to maintain his self-control (something the protester never bothered to learn) and resisting the urge to plant that sign somewhere very uncomfortable in the societal parasite's bodily orifices?

As the original poster noted above, the Marines are everything that's right about America. What is unsaid -- because it's obvious -- is that the protester is everything WRONG with this country.

They hate America and they hate Americans. Hating the military is just a symptom of that.

They want the country we love -- and that young Marine loves -- to be 'fundamentally transformed.'

Gee, I wonder where, and from whom, they learned that?

That's probably what most of us would have said. The Marine didn't. Because he is a Marine.

But speaking of skills, I'm pretty sure that every Marine has more skills in their pinky finger than this protester has learned over an entire failed lifetime.

The 'union worker' has none of these.

But it was the 'disrespect' line that was the most ridiculous.

Someone should tell that protester that respect is earned, not given out like a participation trophy.

Exactly.

Maybe the most hilarious 'respect' that the Marine showed was not even acknowledging the existence of the screeching harpy standing in front of him.

One thing is for sure. If the left thinks that their behavior sells with anyone but the tiniest percentage of the worst anti-Americans in the country, they are in for a rude awakening.

Oh, I'm pretty sure that it's not just the right.

The left continues to believe they can act like petulant babies in public and that it will sell with Americans. They couldn't be more wrong. America is DONE with these childish outbursts.

It's why the Democrats' approval rating is now sinking below 20 percent. It's why a random person at another LA riot took matters into his own hands with an NFL-quality tackle when a 'protester' attacked police. It's why people in cars are not stopping anymore for mobs that try to charge their vehicles.

And it's why this particular LA protester should thank his lucky stars that the Marine he confronted has far more skills than he ever will.

But he probably should pray nightly that he doesn't run into that Marine's father anytime soon.
