The political party that for several years allowed criminal illegals into the country and invited them to "sanctuary" areas are now saying that it's ICE officers who should not be on the streets of U.S. cities.
After the shooting in Minneapolis yesterday, Mayor Jacob Frey, who laughably told Jen Psaki that the Democrats are anti-crime, had this message for ICE (the beta spotted a chance to tough talk and he ran with it):

ICE shouldn't be on city streets, all while they've been protecting people like this, who ICE has taken into custody:

ICE confirms to @FoxNews they’ve arrested a Somalian illegal alien sex offender in Minneapolis who has a prior conviction in 2016 for 1st degree criminal sexual conduct for forcing a victim to perform oral sex on him multiple times. ICE says MAHAD ABDULKADIR YUSUF also has prior arrests for first degree assault and has an active warrant from 2024 for obstructing police.
ICE says they previously tried to arrest him at his apartment, but the building manager blocked ICE from entering and shielded the convicted sex offender. This time, they got him in a targeted operation.
ICE says: “Thanks to the sanctuary policies of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, this dangerous criminal was free to prowl the streets and victimize Minneapolis residents for years.”
