Everybody remembers the Democrats and media attempts to convince us that videos we were seeing of Joe Biden were "cheap fakes" and we shouldn't believe our own eyes. The Dems are now trying the same thing when it comes to Sen. Alex Padilla being detained during Kristi Noem's press conference. Padilla crashed the event and approached the podium while shouting. Security was clearly unaware who he was (not that it would have mattered because he was acting unhinged) and then forced Padilla out the door and onto the ground.
The Democrats are now saying that detaining somebody who crashed a Cabinet member's press conference is the behavior of a dictator. Yes indeed, the formerly "no on is above the law" party is now insisting U.S. senators should be able to do whatever they want as long as they have a "D" after their name.
As for other congressional Dems, the theatrics are off the charts:
“If you can make @SenAlexPadilla forcibly kneel before this executive, when does it stop?”

Calm down, Spartacus.
Jamie Raskin and others marched to the Senate Majority Leader's office like Mercury 7 astronauts headed to the launch pad in "The Right Stuff":

Stunning and brave.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (aka "Dances With Identity Theft") might have had the most over-the-top take:
I'm on my way to the Senate floor to talk about the assault on my colleague, Senator Alex Padilla.
— Elizabeth Warren (@SenWarren) June 12, 2025
This is a horrifying moment in our nation’s history. pic.twitter.com/yi4SQIz7XL
"Horrifying moment in our nation's history." These Democrats are exaggerate so much that they're their own worst enemy. The level of phony outrage is amazing.
Meanwhile, everybody saw what happened:
Sorry but if you push a Secret Service agent (and then try to dodge around him) while yelling at a cabinet secretary…it doesn’t really matter who you are. You’re gonna get cuffed
— John Hasson (@SonofHas) June 12, 2025
I mean what else is secret service supposed to do here? https://t.co/Zu9eWbgRx3
You know how to tell this was the intended result?
— RBe (@RBPundit) June 12, 2025
The Senator's staffer was filming the whole time instead of trying to stop things or explain what was going on. https://t.co/YGqd64fThf
Part of the Democrat talking points on this is claiming that Padilla identified himself as a senator immediately, which doesn't really matter because anybody could have done that.
The full video shows otherwise, and even CBS News noted that in this story:
CBS News' Carter Evans was in the room for DHS Secretary Kristi Noem's press conference when Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) was forcibly removed while trying to ask a question.
— CBS News (@CBSNews) June 12, 2025
Noem was describing what she called the "burdensome leadership" of California's governor and the mayor of… pic.twitter.com/EyjYYSHsV4
"It was only then, after he was being dragged out of the room that he identified himself as a U.S. senator."
That "glub glub" sound you hear is another Democrat narrative sinking into the abyss.
Performance art goes very, very wrong. Because when you’ve lost CBS News… https://t.co/RtoWBUxaVw

The Dems respond by saying "he's a U.S. senator!" Yeah, so what?
Even CBS is admitting they had no idea who the random guy was.
— B 🇺🇸 (@b_connerton) June 12, 2025
Hahaha
Try crashing one of Sen. Padilla's press conferences and acting like a lunatic and see what happens.
We saw the video.
— Ireene Almayda (@IreeneAlmayda) June 13, 2025
Padilla was pushing his way towards the podium while yelling at Noem.
Security had to hold him back.
That’s an insane way for a Senator to behave.
Even much of the media can't back up the Dems on this one. They will invent a fresh outrage within a day or two.
