The House Judiciary Committee will waste no time in its effort to put the pressure on the Biden administration for the ongoing border crisis, tackling the matter in its first hearing of the 118th Congress.

The first part of the hearing, titled “The Biden Border Crisis,” will begin Wednesday morning, with witnesses including a Texas county judge, an Arizona sheriff, and the co-founder of an advocacy group that addresses the dangers of fentanyl.

Besides the number of migrants that have overwhelmed border communities and now test the limits of New York City’s resources, drug trafficking has become a major concern. CBP announced last week that officials in San Diego Border Patrol agents seized roughly 300 pounds of narcotics worth about $4 million from three vehicle stops that all took place on Jan. 24.

Right on cue a Washington Post DHS reporter took issue with how Rep. Chip Roy characterized the fentanyl problem plaguing the country:

“Insidious falsehood”?

First of all, some serious activist journalism has been spotted and the DNC/Biden White House will no doubt be appreciative:

And those committee Dems know they can count on many in the media to help carry that narrative water.

“Democracy Dies in Darkness” or something.
