NBC News correspondent joins Bill Maher in hoping for an economic recession so Trump loses in 2020

Last week we told you that Bill Maher mentioned that the Democrat field of 2020 candidates might be too “crazy” to win the election next year but hoped that an economic recession would do the trick in order to help the Dems defeat Trump. Maher has doubled down big time on his hope to see Trump voted out of office, even if it means people losing their jobs to do so, and NBC News’ chief foreign correspondent gave him an assist:

“We can’t survive another Donald Trump term.” And by “we” Maher must be talking about the anti-Trump Resistance, including NBC News’ Richard Engel.

Because they care about the middle class so much, or something.
