Sen. Amy Klobuchar Tries to Take a Jab at Trump Over Gas Prices and Accidentally KOs Joe Biden

In order to be a congressional Democrat during President Trump's second term, one major requirement is that you make claims about the current administration and just hope that nobody remembers what happened during four years of the autopen presidency.

Such is the case when it comes to gas prices. That's where Dem Sen. Amy Klobuchar comes in:

We start the day w/this Washington Post headline:

Gas hits $4 a gallon for the first time in nearly four years

This didn’t need to happen. Self-inflicted wound on our country and most of the world by this administration. Unilateral actions without an endgame have consequences.

Four years ago, eh?

That didn't escape the attention of many:

Who was the President four years ago, Amy?

I can’t seem to find your statement on gas prices at that time.

You weren’t all that worried about $4 gas during the Biden Admin. Sit down.

— ScyfyLala (@SciFiMom13) March 31, 2026

Klobuchar and the Dems were hoping nobody remembered that.

Amy, you voted against the Keystone Pipeline. you want higher gas prices

— Jeff Kohagen (@jakohagen) March 31, 2026

Yeah, it's pretty funny these days watching Democrats pretend they want really low gas prices.

It was a $1.38 higher four years ago.

Without a war in the Middle East.

And you didn't so much as cough.

Resign, you fraud. https://t.co/XsajpQlcG5

Biden’s energy policy was a self inflicted wound. This is saving our country from nuclear war. https://t.co/hvfZEECHuY

Remember when the Biden administration was trying to make the military "green" and build "climate friendly" equipment? There were a lot of "self-inflicted" disastrous policies happening back then.
