Soaring into retirement: Eagles legend tweets huge announcement

Former Philadelphia Eagles legendary safety Brian Dawkins tweeted his decision to retire early Monday morning. The 38-year-old has spent the last few seasons with the Denver Broncos and despite his age he remained one of the best safeties in the NFL.

Not only will Dawkins go down as one of the best defenders to ever set foot on the gridiron, he will also undoubtedly be a first ballot hall of famer.
