PM Keir Starmer Slams Police Priorities for Arresting Comedy Writer Over 'Gender-Critical' Posts

Another day, another VIP post from me about the United Kingdom. As I've said, I'm an Anglophile, and it hurts me to see the U.K. turn into the dumpster fire it is today.

I'm not sure what's gotten into Prime Minister Keir Starmer lately. In July, the U.K. Home Office was to assemble an "elite team of police officers" to monitor social media for "anti-migrant sentiment" in a new investigations unit to "flag early signs of potential civil unrest." Yes, an elite force of police officers was going to prevent the next Southport riot by flagging "anti-immigrant sentiment" on social media.

But then, as I've said, Starmer has taken a right turn in his social media posts. They'd be enough to put citizens in jail. First, he posted, "If you want to live in the UK, you should speak English. That’s common sense." No, that's racist.

Just a few days ago, he posted that his "number one priority" was putting an end to the "vile trade" of illegal immigration: "I won’t stop until we secure our borders," he promised.

And just today, he said he wanted to close down all migrant hotels:

What the hell, dude? You're the one who's thrown people in prison for mean tweets. What about that "elite force" who are going to be monitoring social media? Don't they have better things they could be doing?

The Independent reports:

Linehan said he was taken to a cell and questioned over the X posts, published in April.
One said: “If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.”
The writer said that after being questioned by police his blood pressure had reached “stroke territory” and he was taken to hospital and kept under observation, before being released on bail.

In an official statement, Starmer's official spokesman said: “The Prime Minister and the Home Secretary have been clear about where their priorities for crime and policing are, and that’s tackling anti-social behaviour, shoplifting, street crime, as well as reducing serious violent crimes like knife crime and violence against women.”

No, they haven't been clear about their priorities.

It would be nice if they'd focus on arresting Pakistani grooming gangs rather than threatening to extradite and imprison Elon Musk for posting about Pakistani grooming gangs.

I honestly don't know what's going on with Starmer and the London Metropolitan Police. I've posted tons of videos of Brits having the police come to their doors to arrest them for social media posts that have caused people "anxiety." A woman who said they should burn down the migrant hotels as much as she cared was sentenced to 31 months in prison for "inciting racial hatred."

And NOW Starmer says they absolutely need to do something about illegal immigration. Has he gone MEGA?
