I know that you're all fully aware of the "bloodbath" hysteria that took place when Donald Trump was talking about the automobile industry under a second Biden term. Rep. Daniel Goldman asked, "Since when does anybody use the term 'bloodbath' related to economic problems?" Well, since they last updated the dictionary.
I'm hearing that the Biden-Harris campaign is getting ready to take another clip of a Trump campaign speech out of context. That's not surprising, but I was honestly shocked by how quickly the mainstream media bought into the idea that Trump had promised a literal bloodbath if he weren't re-elected.
What REALLY shocked me was how transparent Hawaii Sen. Brian Schatz was about how the Democrats control the media narrative. He instructed all of the headline writers out there to keep it out of context:
Headline writers: Don’t outsmart yourself. Just do “Trump Promises Bloodbath if he Doesn’t Win Election.”
— Brian Schatz (@brianschatz) March 17, 2024
Schatz knew it was out of context. He just didn't want the media to "outsmart" themselves and try to put it in context.
As of last week, the Democrats were trying to keep "bloodbath" in the headlines.

Fox News' Peter Doocy caused Karine Jean-Pierre's brain to freeze for a minute Tuesday when he asked why it was OK that President Joe Biden had called the 2020 primary a bloodbath.
Q: Why was it acceptable for Biden to use the term "bloodbath" in 2020, but not when President Trump uses it?

Doocy: When Donald Trump is talking about a bloodbath, it is violent rhetoric; what was it when Joe Biden said in 2020, "We can't let this primary become a negative bloodbath."

They are two different things. Trump was talking about automobile tariffs.
I was going to say I'd never believe the Democrats could keep a hoax going that long, but it looks like they're determined to. And again, to see the media snap right into action as if Trump were still president was something to see.
Do I believe Joe Biden won the 2020 election? Yes, if only for the reason that there was four years of scandal fatigue. I disagree with Major Garrett that the election was "the greatest success of American democracy in history." Trump was fully in his rights to question some of the irregularities that popped up.
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Trump campaign is also keeping bloodbath alive, with the placard on Trump's podium now reading, "Stop Biden's Border Bloodbath."

Let's make sure that 2024 is a bloodbath.
