It was just last week when The Nation informed us that women’s swimming is uniquely anti-transgender. A lot of this has to do with women’s swimming being dominated by whiteness: “Transphobia is often closely linked to white supremacy, as gender non-conformity threatens norms regarding white, Western gender ideals, and swimming’s history is decidedly anti-Black.” So it’s racist and anti-trans.
As you probably know, Nike recently gave female impersonator and Biden adviser Dylan Mulvaney a pile of money to make a TikTok video dancing around in a Nike sports bra and leggings. Adidas has apparently said, “Hold my beer,” and is having men model its new line of Pride-themed women’s swimwear:

We’re with Riley Gaines … why do companies keep doing this?
I dont understand why companies are voluntarily doing this to themselves. They could have at least said the suit is "unisex", but they didn't because its about erasing women. Ever wondered why we hardly see this go the other way?

Familiarize yourself with ESG. That’s the answer.
— Reyna (@_Reyna_) May 17, 2023
It’s ESG. They get ESG certification points in order to get the stock included in ESG indexes. Those purchases provide a short term boost to the stock which executives hope to cash in on or be awarded bonuses. They are not incentivized to consider long term brand damage.

Women are being erased. It’s sickening

The erasure of women continues.

Shame on them. You can certainly tell the companies who really hate women.
— Nicole Kish (@drkish3539) May 17, 2023
it's a push to normalize this stuff and this is exactly why we can't let them get away with it.
— Andrew (@zygradel) May 17, 2023
Because their advertising creative directors and their staff snd the marketing managers are mostly creepy perverts who are not attracted to normal real straight females , if you know what I mean

It’s just comedic at this point; I have no issues with trans people they have no bearing on what billionaire corporations do, but stuff like this is you have to ask if anyone on the board asked during the process, “who is this for?”

It's like whoever is in charge of marketing at these places have forgotten-or never learned-what the point of hiring models is in the first place.
"This looks good on this person. I can picture myself in the same thing. I want to look like this person does, so I will buy this."

They are definitely going to look back and wonder what possessed them to go down this road.

How is a flat chested man supposed to entice me to buy a bathing suit that snugly fits & supports my boobs? Isn't the point to see how an outfit is going to conform to & support your body? It's like women modeling jock straps. Nonsensical.

Screw @adidas, there’s so many alternatives these days!

I hope their target customers can provide enough sales volume to support the company.

They’ll have the trans-woman market sewn up.

Update:
Someone got the attention they ordered:
Adidas has issued a press release in partnership with Trans Organization Athlete Ally regarding the new womenswear campaign:
