We see these a lot … a recent one pictured a person with a holstered gun sitting on a stool at a lunch counter. How would you feel if this were 10 feet away from your children, the poster asked. We see these a lot and they always backfire. As Twitchy reported, people uncomfortable about guns are going to have to get comfortable, as Illinois is eyeing a law that would require every bank, gas station, grocery store, and pawn shop in Chicago to have an armed guard. We’ve heard stories of a Starbucks barista asking police officers to leave the cafe because a customer “did not feel safe” with guns in their line of sight.
In 2019, we wrote about a woman who’ll call the (armed) cops on open carriers because she’ll assume they’re bad guys. “Dear white American dudes,” she tweeted, “If I see you carrying an assault weapon in public, I am calling the cops. You don’t need one to get coffee, go to the mall, walk your dog, etc. Your bulls**t privilege doesn’t mean I and my child should feel unsafe.”
It would in no way be a false police report. If I see a person, carrying a gun like that, in public, I assume they are NOT a Good guy.

More and more states are legalizing constitutional carry, so those who are afraid of guns might want to go back into lockdown.
Actually, the guy who posted this picture is all in favor of this woman carrying a gun.
If you were shopping at your local grocery store…
And came across this woman…
How would you feel⁉️ pic.twitter.com/XYaiQXXwxC

I would introduce myself and thank her for thinking of others safety, I’d much rather be standing next to her than a person with koolaide colored hair, screaming their pronouns 🤡🌎😂

I'd feel at home 😆
No, seriously, I am an Israeli, I see things like this every day and if bad stuff happens, you really want to have someone armed nearby. pic.twitter.com/YYbwHdtA8r— Michael Yarichuk (@Myarichuk) January 31, 2023

safer and I would ask her where she got her holster because I need one

Jealous…
— Jennifer Riggs (@Jennife82665695) February 2, 2023
Took me forever to figure out what the problem was supposed to be.
— Aaron Sears-Aldridge (@SearsAldridge) February 2, 2023
Just fine.
— Scott (@twstormchaser) February 2, 2023
Meh 🤷♀️ she's just going about her business.
— The Last Unicorn YouKnow (@Scorpio1080) February 2, 2023
How about thinking in place of feeling? We used to do that a lot more and we had a lot less problems. I would think she looks kind of short and she’s staring kind of high, I would ask her if she needed some help reaching an item.
— Aurora (@numinous102) February 2, 2023
Safe.
Probably would do my shopping in the same area as she was throughout the entire store. If shit goes down, I know we got a chance.— Rick D. Lewis (@RickDLewis1) February 2, 2023
I would stop and discuss the stopping power of .45 vs 9mm.
— Alan (@ReverenceGehova) February 2, 2023
I would ask her whats the caliber and how does it compare to mine, (lifts up shirt) 😉
— Stanley Roberts (@StanleyRoberts) February 1, 2023
Jealous.

I’d recommend multi-grain if she’s looking for more fiber. White bread has lots of added sugars.
— Brittany Hughes (@RealBrittHughes) February 2, 2023
I would wonder why she's not selecting whole grain bread
— Philip Holloway ✈️ (@PhilHollowayEsq) February 1, 2023
Worried. Guns aren't lawfully carried in my country.
— Thomas Evans ♿ (@ThomasEvansAdur) February 2, 2023
Bummer
— YetiYeff (@YetiYeff) February 2, 2023
Jealous, and in need of a good leather rig for the handgun I would be buying on the way home.
— They Call Me Ma’am (@ThatsMaamtoyou) February 2, 2023
I’d feel very safe. If criminals knew every law-abiding citizen was carrying protection, they’d be way less likely to commit crimes.
— Joel Hemingway (@joelthemingway) February 1, 2023
Fine, but would tell her a 1911 should be cocked before putting it in the holster.
— Welcome to the USSA @AggieMike on Truth (@M_McMullenAggie) February 2, 2023
I see it pretty often. Doesn’t bother me a bit. So long as they are showing respect for the firearm, I’m all for it.
— Kris Van Houten (@krivaten) February 2, 2023
Like she's just another person in the grocery store. I'm in TX, it's normal.
I carry everyday, though admittedly open carry with a 1911 is a little bit too showy in my opinion. I personally prefer concealed.
Clearly isn't signaling any hostile intent, so what's the big deal?
— 🏛 Aristophanes 🏛 (@Aristos_Revenge) February 1, 2023
Like I was dreaming. My country has a long way to go before something as mundane as that photo will become legal, let alone normal.
— Kris (@Kn1ne) February 2, 2023
I'd tell her eggs are 7.99 a dozen.

— YetiYeff (@YetiYeff) February 2, 2023
Is this picture a few years old? Because the shelves are actually full.
