We don’t normally pick up stories from the Idaho Statesman, but there’s an opinion piece today about the incoming Senate Education Committee, which “will be a disaster.” Why’s that? Because it will be packed with “far-right” freshmen “bent on vouchers and censorship.” We’re perfectly fine with the Democratic Party running against school vouchers and throwing its lot in with the teachers’ unions, which donated big bucks to get Democrats elected who’ll funnel more money to teachers’ unions. Let “far-right” Republicans run on vouchers and “censorship.”
The Senate Education Committee will be packed with far-right freshmen bent on vouchers and censorship. Its chairman needs the courage to kill bills. | Opinion https://t.co/qlpyJHDLG8

We’re curious if by “censorship” they mean making sure that books are age-appropriate, but the piece is behind a paywall, so we’ll never know.

Yes, absolutely, because, as we’ve seen in the Twitter documents, it’s totally conservatives who are censoring their opponents.

Using words like "chairman" and "kill" is violence. This is very upsetting and this needs to be removed as I feel threatened. Words are violence.

What happened, Idaho? You were the last bastion of freedom. Oh yeah, Californians moved there after destroying their own state.

Nothing in this article about the state of the education system In Idaho. It’s all hyperbole and vitriol towards people that want to have their children educated not indoctrinated.

I’m so sorry that parents will have options for their kids’ education and government school employees will no longer be allowed to expose small children to pornography.
I’m sure you’ll find a way to persevere.
