Newsweek: Serial fabulist Rebekah Jones slams Matt Gaetz for mocking her autistic son

You knew that Rebekah Jones was running against Matt Gaetz for Congress, right? Jones is the “whistleblower” who proved that the Ron DeSantis administration was underreporting coronavirus deaths to make the state look better. Her story has been debunked a thousand times over. This spring, National Review Online’s Charles C. W. Cooke shredded the Miami Herald for spending two years laundering her lies.

So naturally, when Jones accused Gaetz of mocking her 12-year-old autistic son, Newsweek was on the case.

Palmer writes:

Rebekah Jones, a Democrat who will face off against Matt Gaetz in November’s midterms, has heavily criticized the GOP Florida congressman after a picture of her autistic 12-year-old online was posted onto his Facebook page to mock her campaign.

Jones, a former Florida Department of Health data scientist, posted a video on TikTok about the “disturbing” Facebook photo which was uploaded onto Gaetz’s Facebook on September 10.

The Facebook post in question was two photos side by side, one showing dozens of people at a campaign event for Gaetz, alongside one of a young child alone with his head on the desk at a booth.

Wait … Palmer didn’t even talk to Jones? He just wrote a story based on a TikTok video she posted? Really?
