CBS News’ Kathryn Watson is getting a lot of abuse in the replies for sharing this information in a tweet, but we found it interesting. In a continuation of norms from the campaign trail, the White House will call on reporters for President Biden rather than have him call on them by name.

Why doesn’t he just call on them? Although we will give props to the White House for calling on “one-horse pony” Peter Doocy … so far. It wasn’t so long ago that CNN’s Brian Stelter was calling Jen Psaki’s press conferences “refreshing,” so is this refreshing too?
