We honestly can’t believe the LGBT crowd and their allies in Democrat mayors and governors are still hung up on this Chick-fil-A thing, which was played out and tired back in 2012.
In our most recent reporting on the chicken franchise, airports in San Antonio and Buffalo made it clear Chick-fil-A was not welcome in their food concourses, and San Jose city council took the absolutely ridiculous step of decreeing that rainbow flags would be flown near a Chick-fil-A that was moving into their airport.
LGBT blog Towleroad has some big news to report, however; several LGBT protesters hopped onto a Chick-fil-A branded Zamboni at a Cincinnati Cyclones game over the weekend.
Protesters Hijacked Chick-fil-A’s Zamboni at Cincinnati’s NHL Game to Stage a Brilliant Sneak Attack on Homophobia https://t.co/YuFQpEQcRe #heroes pic.twitter.com/j5eiTC8YQM

We honestly had to check to see what Towleroad was to make sure “brilliant sneak attack” and “heroes” weren’t sarcasm:
A group of protesters infiltrated Chick-fil-A’s branded “Fan Zam” and rode around the ice carrying “Chick-fil-A is anti-gay” signs. The protest took place during a game between the Cincinnati Cyclones and the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night.
WLWT reports: “The fans rode on what’s known as the Chick-fil-A Fan Zam, a customized Zamboni that takes fans for a spin around the ice for a $10 fee. Officials with the Cincinnati Cyclones said the group concealed the message on a birthday sign and unfolded their actual message once they got on the ice.”
OK, hold up: the tweet said the heroes had “hijacked” the Zamboni, but it turns out each protester paid ten bucks to ride it? That doesn’t sound like hijacking … not that hijacking a Zamboni sounds all that dangerous. And it wasn’t even an NHL game as advertised.

I was wondering where I was gonna eat today. Thanks for clearing that up!

Way to fight back against those oppressive chicken sandwiches.
— SnaggleBrow (@SnaggleM) April 15, 2019
Yes, brilliant because Cincinnati does not have an NHL team…and, now I am craving Chick-Fil-A. Thanks much!
— Will Roberts (@3thirty1) April 15, 2019
Hi guys. There is no NHL team in Cincinnati.
— aaron. (@Tims_Burner) April 15, 2019
What is the name of the NHL team in Cincinnati again?
— Bob LaRosa (@larosabob) April 15, 2019
I will make an $8.95 contribution to Chick-fil-a today in your name @tlrd.

Don't forget to dip your waffle fries into the Chick-Fil-A sauce!

— rosalokeyorbe (@rosalokeyorbe) April 15, 2019
Thank you for this. On my way to @ChickfilA now
— David (@BIGACE22) April 15, 2019
Not sure everyone realizes this but Chick-Fil-A is just a fast food chain.
— Ellis Wyatt (@jcrowder55) April 15, 2019
People should be more offended that other chains don't provide the same level of service and food that Chick-fil-A does.
— Jake Your Time, Do It Right (@JakeWylde1) April 15, 2019
Truth.
Having Chick-fil-A through the rest of the year. Thanks for the advertisement!!!
— Luisa (@AnaGallet2) April 15, 2019
Chick-fil-A is awesome! Actually had the spicy sandwich deluxe today! ?!!
— Josh (@Day_Tradin) April 15, 2019
And this protest worked, because literally nobody ate at a Chick-Fil-A the next day!!!!!! Wow!!!!!! @TheBabylonBee
— Phillip Carlson (@phillipc1984) April 15, 2019
I'm guessing the protest was on a Saturday?
— Maria Romanetti (@WriterRomana) April 15, 2019
Yep. They managed to close down the whole chain on Sunday with their Zamboni hijacking.
Pathetic.
Are they going to hijack The Salvation Army buckets at Target this Christmas? Or are they going to attack student athletes for being in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes?
Now I am off to @ChickfilA to eat some chicken biscuits served to me with exquisite service. pic.twitter.com/yDcOcIrrrS
— Ryan B. Leslie (@RyanBLeslie) April 15, 2019
That’s their latest beef with the chicken chain: they donate to both the anti-gay Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Want to protest something worthwhile? Protest Islam and Sharia Law.

The intersectionality equation becomes a bit problematic there … it’s easier to stick to bullying Christians.
The only thing brilliant about it is that its an effective way to reduce empathy for one's cause. This is a losing argument, as long as Chick-fil-a continues to serve all, hire all, and be a positive force in the communities their stores operate in.
