Not all heroes wear capes: Handful of LGBT activists protest aboard Chick-fil-A branded Zamboni

We honestly can’t believe the LGBT crowd and their allies in Democrat mayors and governors are still hung up on this Chick-fil-A thing, which was played out and tired back in 2012.

In our most recent reporting on the chicken franchise, airports in San Antonio and Buffalo made it clear Chick-fil-A was not welcome in their food concourses, and San Jose city council took the absolutely ridiculous step of decreeing that rainbow flags would be flown near a Chick-fil-A that was moving into their airport.

LGBT blog Towleroad has some big news to report, however; several LGBT protesters hopped onto a Chick-fil-A branded Zamboni at a Cincinnati Cyclones game over the weekend.

We honestly had to check to see what Towleroad was to make sure “brilliant sneak attack” and “heroes” weren’t sarcasm:

A group of protesters infiltrated Chick-fil-A’s branded “Fan Zam” and rode around the ice carrying “Chick-fil-A is anti-gay” signs. The protest took place during a game between the Cincinnati Cyclones and the Kalamazoo Wings on Saturday night.

WLWT reports: “The fans rode on what’s known as the Chick-fil-A Fan Zam, a customized Zamboni that takes fans for a spin around the ice for a $10 fee. Officials with the Cincinnati Cyclones said the group concealed the message on a birthday sign and unfolded their actual message once they got on the ice.”

OK, hold up: the tweet said the heroes had “hijacked” the Zamboni, but it turns out each protester paid ten bucks to ride it? That doesn’t sound like hijacking … not that hijacking a Zamboni sounds all that dangerous. And it wasn’t even an NHL game as advertised.

Truth.

Yep. They managed to close down the whole chain on Sunday with their Zamboni hijacking.

That’s their latest beef with the chicken chain: they donate to both the anti-gay Salvation Army and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

The intersectionality equation becomes a bit problematic there … it’s easier to stick to bullying Christians.
