While Obama’s old cronies and liberals at large are melting down over President Trump’s speech before the United Nations General Assembly, Trump’s also receiving some praise for getting tough on dictators, including North Korea’s “Rocket Man,” Kim Jong Un.
HuffPost’s Jennifer Bendery managed to catch up with Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, who was glad to hear someone “talk turkey” about North Korea.
! "It's about time somebody talked turkey on that little bastard over there." — Orrin Hatch on Trump's UN speech about NK/Rocket Man

We’d love to have that on tape, but we can practically hear it anyway.
What is your source? I'd love to read it. ? can't believe he used that language after chastising Trump for Morning Jo and Mika remark.

My source? Me!

It might sound like a parody if it were anyone but Hatch, but this quote sounds totally legit. And we like it.

Again: US lawmakers deliver quotes on a whole other level. https://t.co/VWet1T1NxR

Not everyone was a fan of Hatch’s assessment.
This is an elected lawmaker who is in the line of presidential succession. Let that sink in. https://t.co/TohDXqTzKX

Guess Steve had better pray that Donald Trump and Mike Pence remain in office, then.
There is nothing wrong with mocking, much less condemning, the Kim Jong Uns of the world in any forum. We need more of it from our leaders.

sometimes lawmakers curse and it makes their quotes more fun. but it's always best in the rare moments when orrin hatch does it https://t.co/6Dmw8ZEP1P
