Meanwhile, in Canada: Justin Trudeau builds pillow fort, crashes prom photo

Of course Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau weighed in on Monday night’s horrific suicide bombing outside Manchester Arena:

Still, you have to wonder what sort of magical wonderland is located north of the United States. By Monday afternoon, the news media had released its daily entry in the effort to prove collusion between Trump and Russia, but that story was overshadowed by a terrorist bomb literally tearing through a concert venue filled with young children meeting their parents after the show.

Meanwhile, in Canada, Trudeau was showing off photos of the pillow fort he’d built with the winner of the prime minister of the day contest. It was kind of cute when Joe Biden was doing that sort of thing, but the addition of the little girl made it less creepy and more adorable.

Oh, come on.

Bella, 5, was picked for her winning idea of what she’d do if she were prime minister for a day:

As prime minster, I would make sure everyone has homes and everyone is safe. I would hug everyone. I would make sure animals and the world around us are kept safe. I would make sure every Canadian is healthy. I would show kindness to everyone.

Hey, that’s the same platform on which Trudeau ran.

Speaking of running … if that weren’t enough, the prime minister also took the time from his run to photobomb some kids on a prom date:

Hold up; there might be a scandal here after all:

But seriously, Canada looks great. All those Hollywood celebrities who’d said they were moving there if Trump won really ought to consider following through.
