Don't look now, but there's a new "outrage" going around among the TDS media and Democrats, and it's this:
'Jimmy Kimmel Live' Moves Interview With Texas Senate Candidate James Talarico From TV to YouTube Due to FCC Threats https://t.co/IFoWoMaaQT
— Variety (@Variety) September 10, 2026
Jimmy Kimmel says that his interview with James Talarico will not air on TV after the FCC threatened his show, ABC, and local stations.https://t.co/XUZsv8HSWv
— Rolling Stone (@RollingStone) September 10, 2026
Naturally the Trump-triggered are jumping right to a "censorship" conclusion while hoping nobody understands how equal time rules work. The Kimmel show could interview Talarico, but they'd also have to have a chat with Ken Paxton, which they don't want to do. Therefore, Kimmel's talk with Talarico will be posted to his YouTube channel.
The Justice Department's Harmeet Dhillon wanted to know if any of the lefties having a fit about this remember "no one is above the law"?
Was the “threat” to apply federal law to you?

Yep, and they're saying it out loud. Federal laws are NOT supposed to be applied to liberal late-night talk hosts on television networks and illegal aliens.
Ah, Equal Time Rule is THAT painful to your fragile souls @RollingStone @JimmyKimmelLive @jimmykimmel ?

My God, are you THAT pathetic?
So he was told to obey the law. What a novel concept.

The "rules for thee but not for me" crowd is so predictable.
