Clinton rapid response team agrees with WaPo, Bernie Sanders: America tired of Hillary's emails

As Hillary Clinton prepares to testify before the Select Committee on Benghazi tomorrow, her supporters are continuing to discredit the meeting before it even happens. Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer both took last-minute shots at the committee today.

Might as well get Sen. Harry Reid’s arch enemies involved as well.

Probably most often included as a “highlight” of the first Democratic presidential debate was Sen. Bernie Sanders’ assertion that “the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn e-mails.” And this week alone, Americans saw the State Department dump another 2,200 pages of printed emails at the last minute.

We’re not sure when being “sick and tired” of hearing about an investigation became a valid reason for pulling the plug on it. Today, the Washington Post got on board, with Philip Bump admitting that a poll showing Americans agreeing with Sanders wasn’t “super clean” — after all, he writes, “There might very well be people who are both tired of hearing about the topic and who believe it should still be covered by the media.” You think?

We sure do miss candidate Barack Obama’s Truth Team, but at least we have Correct the Record, “a strategic research and rapid response team designed to defend Hillary Clinton from baseless attacks.” Correct the Record was glad to have the Washington Post’s assistance today.
