Winner of Muhammad cartoon contest shuns media that won't show his drawing

Cable news has run countless segments this week on Pamela Geller and the Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest in Garland, Texas, which was attacked by two gunmen. Claiming the top prize was artist Bosch Fawstin, but don’t expect to see him on the news, at least without his winning entry.

Not only did Fawstin win a cash prize for his entry; for surviving an attempt on his life for drawing a cartoon, Reuters reports that he’ll also win a place on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s 2016 list of U.S. hate groups.
