ABC’s Jake Tapper was speechless after Jerry Seinfeld responded to one of his tweets, responding at first with only a string of exclamation points before regaining his composure.
Today, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer thanked the “president” for a “shoutout” from the @BarackObama Twitter feed, though he was quick to clarify that it wasn’t his opinion the president was quoting, but that of a focus group.
@BarackObama Thanks Mr. President for the shoutout. I was citing what the CNN focus group of undecided voters in VA told us.

But a shoutout? That’s thrill-up-the-leg material, right? More savvy Twitter users had to break it to Blitzer that, no, President Obama doesn’t actually write those tweets.
@wolfblitzer @barackobama that's not really the Prez, Wolf.

Touché.
And that's not really a wolf, Prez. RT @jamesdwilder that's not really the Prez, Wolf. @wolfblitzer @BarackObama

Kudos to Blitzer for not asking if he could “get a follow-back.”
