CNN's Erin Burnett decided to help the Democrats forward one of their latest narratives by interviewing the estranged brother of Natalie Harp, one of President Trump's aides.
Harp's brother had no firsthand knowledge of, well, anything at all, but that was good enough for CNN's Burnett to try and get him to say negative things about his sister and Trump.
CNN of course is now trying to make Natalie Harp a story they can use to bash Trump.

They've brought her brother in to help do it.
Erin Burnett is trying her best to get usable soundbites out of him, but he's spaced out and she's having some trouble. pic.twitter.com/8cfigCPa3r
The Justice Department's Harmeet Dhillon diagnosed what happened on CNN this way:
Sad reminder that the mean girl bullying of childhood never really goes away. Sometimes those bullies grow up, get hair and makeup and big media shows, and continue the same cruel, petty BS with their cruel, petty friends and producers. Aided and abetted by a loser chorus. https://t.co/mUMDZwgQts

Well, there it is.

We're now waiting for CNN to round up and interview a couple of Harp's childhood friends (and we're only half joking). Maybe Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse will even get his hands on her high school yearbook and do a deep dive forensic analysis for CNN.
