Paul Ryan wins Ari Fleischer's VP poll; Rubio a close second, Portman last

We have to do something while we wait for Mitt Romney’s iPhone app to do whatever that thing is it’s going to do; why not conduct a completely unscientific Twitter poll to pass the time? If it’s good enough to keep the mainstream media busy, why can’t Ari Fleischer have fun too?

A running mate poll conducted by CNN and ORC international showed Marco Rubio the clear favorite of those polled at 28 percent, with New Jersey Gov. Christie and House Budget Chairman Paul Ryan tied at 16 percent each.

Early returns: Rubio 157; Ryan 150; Jindal 82; Christie 68; Rice 61; Portman 17; Pawlenty 13.
