On Tuesday, Judd Legum brought the receipts proving that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is fabricating stories about drag shows, after DeSantis pulled a couple of liquor licenses from a couple of venues that allowed kids into “A Drag Queen Christmas.”
1. @RonDeSantisFL has declared war on drag shows.
He is pushing to shut down venues that host drag shows, claiming they are endangering kids
But the DeSantis admin was just CAUGHT RED HANDED fabricating claims about the shows

DeSantis even sent undercover agents to make sure there weren’t any kids there.
7. The agents observed 3 children at the show. Photos illustrate that the children were accompanied by their parents.
While DeSantis has stressed "parents' rights," he apparently does not believe parents have the right to take their child to a drag show.

You can read the rest of Legum’s “100 PERCENT ACCURATE” reporting on your own. It’s notable, though, how hard leftists will go to the mat to protect a parent’s right to bring their child to a show where “a performer named Jimbo the Clown [gives] birth to a log of bologna and [throws] slices to the crowd.”
We’d reported before the school year started that some Florida teachers were desperately scraping the rainbow stickers off their classroom doors to keep from going to jail. All the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” law does is prevent teachers in kindergarten through third grade from leading class discussions on gender identity and sexual orientation. Is that too much to ask?

In any case, a school district in Florida angered some parents after announcing a “Drag and Donuts” event:

Hold onto your wig, there, “Momma Ashley Rose” — the event’s been canceled after a call from the Department of Education:

“The event Donuts & Drag was not a drag show, but an opportunity for the students to hear a positive message of acceptance and love,” said a statement from the district.
So much winning!

OK, two things: Don’t teach kindergarteners about gender identity, and keep drag queens away from kids. Is that so hard?
