NYT: FBI had as many as eight informants inside the Proud Boys around January 6

This is old news. Last September, the New York Times reported that the FBI had at least one informant marching with the Proud Boys on January 6. So how many FBI agents were on the Capitol grounds on January 6? This April, The Epoch Times reported that “at least 20 FBI and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives ‘assets’ were embedded around the U.S. Capitol on January 6.”

The one thing that we know for sure is that Ray Epps was not an FBI informant, as some “crazies” were suggesting; Rep. Adam Kinzinger talked to “Ray” and said he was “just another misled man” … a victim, really.

We’re not endorsing anything the Proud Boys did on January 6, but we’re also getting heavy “Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping” vibes. The Times says this raises questions about how much federal investigators were able to “learn” from them … and maybe “teach” them a thing or two.

Why yes, we do have questions about how much the FBI informants were able to learn from the Proud Boys what their plans were for President Trump’s Stop the Steal rally. Insurrection? And they let it happen?
