Count this Twitchy editor not one bit surprised that California State Senator Scott Wiener has been aware of Paul Pelosi’s alleged attacker for a long time. Nothing against the gay community, but LGBTQ activist Wiener wanted to lower penalties for LGBT sex predators and floated a bill “offering Drag Queen 101 as part of the K-12 curriculum.” Age of consent is a big issue with Wiener, who also wanted to lower the age of consent for the COVID-19 vaccine from 18 to 12.
Wiener told KRON4 that he has been aware of assault suspect David DePape “for a long time because he was associated with the public nudity folks in the Castro.”

Stephen Miller has a point, though; a state senator knew the guy and his history of nudist activism very well. DePape probably was lobbying Wiener on behalf of nudists because he knew this was his friend in the legislature.
