This is an interesting development. Twitchy has reported on some of the videos that Boston Children’s Hospital has posted advertising its services for transgender youth, such as “top surgery” and gender-affirming hysterectomies. Staffers also claim that children know they’re transgender seemingly from the womb, and pre-verbal trans kids express this by refusing to get their hair cut or playing with “gender-opposite” toys.
No one in the media seems to care about the kids targeted by these ads; this is a “Republicans pounce” story in which “anti-LGBT” accounts like Libs of TikTok repost the publically available videos to stir up threats. Reports say the hospital has been “deluged” with threats since their videos went viral.
The Justice Department has taken notice, and U.S. Attorney Rachael S. Rollins released a statement regarding “alleged threats made to Boston Children’s Hospital.” (You’ve got the FBI at your disposal — are the threats real or not?) Rollins writes that “children deserve an opportunity to thrive and grow as their own authentic selves” and quotes Attorney Merrick Garland as saying that he’s made “confronting hate crimes” a priority of his administration. Rollins is calling this “hate-based criminal activity.”
The Justice Department has even set up a new hotline — 1-83-END-H8-NOW — which has received dozens of calls.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Justice Department has not made a statement like this about the dozens of *actual attacks* on pro-life crisis pregnancy centers over the past couple months https://t.co/Df7g3l3KLs pic.twitter.com/oR6vT6NtJG

I must’ve missed the DOJ statements regarding domestic terrorism aimed at crisis pregnancy centers (i.e. actual, physical violence) as well. https://t.co/yZihEE4cer

How the fuck does the DOJ know whether mutilating these children is helping them "thrive and grow as their own authentic selves"? pic.twitter.com/JjeYmcY57O

Alleged threats are the scariest!

Well, in fairness, Rachel Rollins is a partisan hack.

Rollins is one of the most mentally incapable people to disgrace the title US Attorney

There's that victim card! Always the victims.

I also don't recall any statement from DOJ about the threats to Justices of the Supreme Court, and the actual attack on one of them. I may be wrong – but I doubt it.

"Children deserve an opportunity to thrive and grow as their own authentic selves."
Every word is precisely the opposite of what actually happens when puberty blockers stunt the children's growth then lead to sterilization by cross sex hormones and genital mutilation.

Sure sounds like it’s the US Attorney that is making the threats. Sure sound a lot like they are saying if you say something we don’t like we will deem it a hate crime……

Exactly how does the DOJ define “hate-based criminal activity” in lieu of these alleged threats?
