Here's Townhall's investigation into the exploitative environment surrounding 10-year-old rape victim

A lot of liberals dunked on right-wingers for calling the story of a 10-year-old girl who traveled from Ohio to Indiana to get an abortion fake. We’ll admit we said the story raised a lot of red flags — we just found it really sketchy that the Indianapolis Star who broke the story relied on a single source — the abortionist — and didn’t seem to follow up by looking into police reports and the like. Slowly, the story began to leak out: as with so many of these cases, it seems it was “mom’s boyfriend” who was raping the girl, and the suspect also turned out to be an illegal alien. Was mom protecting the boyfriend? He’s 27 but was reported as a 17-year-old.

Townhall’s Mia Cathell has written up the story as we now know it, and we were right to have all those red flags.

Who exactly is this mystery woman seemingly scrambling to cover up her daughter's sexual abuse?

In 2019, Gomez was charged for driving without a valid license in Columbus. The ticket has "None" checked off next to the driver's license category while the "Not on person" option was left unmarked. An ICE source told @BillFOXLA that the federal agency placed a detainer on Fuentes with local authorities, which suspect that he isn't using his real name. A detective had testified: "We have no legal documents to ascertain who he may actually be."https://t.co/PRhoobsBYL
