Following the school shooting in Uvalde, Texas, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is said to be putting forward legislation that would freeze gun ownership in the country, making it illegal to buy, sell, transfer, or import a handgun anywhere in the country.
TRUDEAU says he is putting forward legislation to put a national freeze on gun ownership. “What this means is that it will no longer be possible to buy, sell, transfer, or import handguns anywhere in Canada," he said.https://t.co/OKYTM6ZJBe

This is the same Trudeau who invoked the wartime Emergencies Act over the Freedom Convoy and said that we’re seeing countries “turning towards slightly more authoritarian leaders.”
He is a great example of why we need guns and to whom we might use them against.

The Freedom Convoy almost overthrew him with no guns, so of course he wants to ban guns.

A true dictator. The unvaccinated are prisoners in their own country and forbidden from leaving, peaceful protests have been banned, and the right to self-defence doesn't exist.

The government also is pledging to start buying back thousands of banned assault weapons before the end of the year, reports the CBC.
