It was last week that the head of the DHS’s new Disinformation Governance Board introduced herself on Twitter, saying this is what she’s been up to for the previous couple of months and why she’d been so quiet on Twitter. The whole idea of a Disinformation Governance Board came out of nowhere, and red flags rightfully went up.
As Twitchy reported earlier, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified before the Senate Wednesday and fielded a number of questions about the “Mary Poppins of disinformation” and new Minister of Truth, Nina Jankowicz. Had he seen her bizarre TikTok videos? No. Did he know that she had vouched for the veracity of the Steele dossier? No. How did she get hired? Mayorkas wasn’t saying.

Also… if DHS hadn't vetted her social media, wasn't familiar with her past statements, nobody else was considered for the job… then WHO hired her, and why? My best guess is that there's a Ukraine connection.

The "department" may have even started before she admittedly got there "months" ago.
We didn't find out til 2 days after Elon's bid was accepted and Mayorkas figured it would be outed they're working with social media platforms.

So she’s been working on this for a couple of months, but the board hasn’t actually met yet and there’s no documentation. Mayorkas just decided one day they needed a Ministry of Truth and Jankowicz said she was an expert on disinformation, which is true in a sense.
