CNN is reporting Tuesday that the Justice Department has announced the formation of a new domestic terrorism unit, saying the threat of domestic terrorism has more than doubled in the past two years. It’s true that there have been a lot of parents getting angry at school board meetings, and as Attorney General Merrick Garland testified last May, white supremacists are our greatest domestic security threat, although we haven’t seen Patriot Front do anything but put on matching khakis and carry around stupid shields.

CNN reports:
The Justice Department is establishing a new domestic terrorism unit to combat the threat that has more than doubled in the past two years, the head of the agency’s National Security Division said Tuesday.
Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen told members of the Senate Judiciary Committee that the newly formed unit will encompass a dedicated group of attorneys to focus on the domestic terrorism threat. The number FBI investigations into domestic terrorism has more than doubled since March 2020, he said.
And of course, there are the January 6 insurrectionists whom the Left insists are planning to storm the Capitol again at any moment.
So they can target more parents? https://t.co/yvR6KsHscO

If they’re really worried about domestic terror plots, maybe they should ask the FBI agents & informants to stop planning them. That would probably cut the number at least in half.

A new "war on terror" for a new generation.
Sadly, this time it's the US government declaring war against its own citizens.

This will not end well.

Don’t we already have an FBI to handle things like this? They’re doing a great job, so why a new unit?
