French ambassador 'harassed by NRA fans' but doesn't care to emulate them

We tuned in after the harassment began, but French Ambassador to the United States Gérard Araud won the adulation and respect of European-style gun control supporters Wednesday night, despite the fact that his three-part tweet on the subject was missing the second part.

Harassed by NRA fans. (1) the rate of deaths by guns in the US 6 times the French one, (3) sorry we don't want to emulate it.

Perhaps Part 3 is actually Part 2, and there is no third part. In any case, Second Amendment supporters and “NRA fans” agreed that they didn’t want to emulate France’s model of gun control.
