The Republican controlled House and Senate passed the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB), and it will head to President Trump's desk for his signature.
It was a long road to get there, and now the real work begins.
Karl Rove was on Fox News yesterday to talk about the OBBB and its impact on the 2026 midterms.

He's correct.

Fox News, and other polling places, ran the numbers on the OBBB and, as it stands, it's not that popular with voters:
Midterms are going to be rough....thanks GOP....

Popularity of the OBBB:
Fox News (June 13–16, 2025)
Support: 38%
Oppose: 59%
Notable partisan divide: 73% of Republicans support it; 89% of Democrats oppose; 73% of independents oppose…
Part of this is because the media and Democratic Party narrative around the OBBB has dominated the airwaves and social media.
So it's imperative the Trump administration and Republicans start explaining the OBBB and how it will help Americans. Because the Left has been, and will continue to, work to undermine the bill in the eyes of the public with the goal of using its to win the House and/or Senate back in 2026.
And the Left's narrative has already formed around the OBBB, and here's just a sample of it:

People will die!
Tens of thousands of Americans will die every year as a direct result of this bill.

They f*****g dance. https://t.co/xv16yPjT7t

Trump's Big Ugly Bill is a deal with the devil.

It hikes up taxes on people making less than $50,000 while cutting Medicaid and SNAP benefits to give Elon Musk and greedy billionaires a huge tax break.

It's giving billionaires tax breaks!
.@SenJeffMerkley claims the Big Beautiful Bill will cause children to "go hungry."

WRONG.
The Big Beautiful Bill preserves SNAP for the truly needy.
Right now, almost three-quarters of able-bodied adults without dependents on SNAP have no earned income. pic.twitter.com/9EnQz1lcL1
Children will STARVE!
From now until next November, every bad thing that happens -- from a papercut to a hurricane -- will be blamed on the OBBB. The media will gladly run with that narrative and bang that drum as loudly as possible.
The Democratic Party is wildly unpopular right now, and they don't seem too eager to change their ways. On top of that, they seem to pick the least sympathetic people to hold up as 'victims' of the Trump administration -- whether it's the criminal gangbanger illegal immigrants like Kilmar Abrego Garcia or Amy Klobuchar pointing to a rather large woman as proof SNAP cuts are starving Americans.
But we cannot rely on their radicalism or stupidity to carry us through the midterms. They are livid about the OBBB passing, and they remain perpetually power-hungry.
The GOP must get ahead of the political messaging and start talking to voters. It's an imperative if they wish to hold on to the House and Senate after the midterms and to stave off any attempts at impeaching President Trump. The administration has some excellent messengers who can advocate for the bill, including Vice President Vance, who cast the tie-breaking vote in the Senate.
There's too much at stake for the GOP to sit quietly by while the Left continues to be alarmist about the OBBB. If Republicans want to keep making America great until 2028, they need to start talking to voters.
