It might be too early to call Fox News host Dana Perino prescient — the White House hasn’t even announced a speech yet — but we wouldn’t bet against her.

Probably a safer bet than GTL. Probably.

Looks like we’ll see if Perino’s predictions are correct next week.

  • Maxx

Gee, I wonder if he’s going to start things off by bragging about the 169,000 new jobs created in August?

In other words, 165,000 people dressed like the Statue of Liberty standing next to a pawn shop sandwich board.

    • MyrmidoNOT

      Selling obamaDON’Tcare…??

  • TugboatPhil

Obama’s speeches are all just “fill in the blanks” on WH Form 4138(b):

I want to be perfectly clear about the problem with/ in/ about (circle one) _________. I want you to know that _________ is the most pressing issue I have. ________ is the first thing I think about when I get up in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. I am focused on _______ like a laser beam.

But let me be frank. I inherited the problem with/ in/ about (circle one) _________ and am doing the best that I can to solve it. However, Congress/ the Courts (circle one) have blocked me at every turn.

The problem occurs when Obama fills out the forms himself. He keeps circling the word “one”

      • OLLPOH ~ America

He just makes circles 0 !

    • ejochs

How about a “Let me be perfectly clear, ——-“?

Nah. It’s pretty easy to write or speak like a lib. Their vocabulary is fairly limited.

    • Right Wired

      lmao!! Mad Libs – literally.

We also now need to add:

Now, I want to be clear; I am not drawing an analogy to ________, but when we _________ the ____________ during ___________, it wasn’t popular then either.

Now I’ll have to wait and catch ‘Blue Bloods’ at 11:00 or 11:30pm!

Don’t expect any sort of “Bounce” at all in Obama’s favor after this abysmal prime time snoozer.

More of the exact opposite, in fact.

Then what is Obama going to do?

Cry and pout? Or pout and cry?

So true! How about when he prances down the stairs of Marine One and throws the “I am in a rush to get back to work for the folks” half salute to the Marines.

      • nc

He never holds on when jogging down the stairs of AF1 either. I truly don’t wish him any injury, but just once, I’d love to see him fall flat on his face!

Don’t forget the long paragraph that will be nothing but Obama saying, “Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, and oh right, me.”

Anyone interested in listening to a speech where someone justifying why they intend to march us into war when they know their intent will be war no matter what we think about their justification? This president has no boundaries and no consequences to face for his actions. No one with the power to do so will call him on anything he does.

    • David

I would like to hear his speech, but that’s when I trim my toenails . . .

What, it’s gonna take a whole 15 seconds and there’ll be no pre-speech driveling and drooling, salivating and slobbering? And will we see gasping and fanning from the breathless bimbos at CNN and the MessNBC? At least he dares not speak on 9/11.

Now that Iran has threatened the families of all US diplomats including the Prez’s own daughter, he will try to generate some serious anger at them, in the hopes we will all come around to his way of thinking. While I condemn what Iran said, I still don’t support action in Syria.

  • Jake Wilde

OMG I watched the speech! Damn me!

    • MyrmidoNOT

      But…did you hear anything worthwhile??

      • Jake Wilde

I have never and expect to never hear anything productive from O. He and his operatives have America divided for their own political gain and have done truly criminal actions that should be brought to light and judged accordingly. The saddest part of all of this: once again the GOP has no clue how to handle a situation. How can they claim McCain?

        • MyrmidoNOT

          Hear you. Agree…
Sadly, it is up to us. But we trudge on! 😉

And it makes me sad those people are just so uncaring about dead children. But I say a superpower should save women and children.”

The above statement and about 10 other strawmen arguments strung together with a big dose of Plouffe petulance will be the entire speech on Tuesday.

  • jeanie6

Wouldn’t it be lovely if he’d throw us a curve and announce his resignation on Tuesday with the hope we might find someone better suited to the job. Hey, I can dream can’t I!

  • arttie

  • right_on

He’ll make a case for action, making an allusion that “courage in the face of adversity” is sometimes necessary, “to do the right thing.” He’ll mention “children.” He’ll talk about global “norms.” He refer his actions back to one’s taken by Reagan, Bush, and Clinton…how unpopular they were, and how they took “executive actions” without the consent of congress. He’ll refute “the notion” that he drew a “red line”,

Let’s see how well I do.

    • MyrmidoNOT

      Hmmm…are you referring to the:

      Darn, thought there was a “K” in there…? 😉

How late will our passive-aggressive President Participation be, one wonders?

I’m sure it will be “I, I, I” and “me, me, me” until it comes to blame.

This man is apparently, to channel McLaughlin, metaphysically incapable of accepting responsibility for anything negative at all. You’d think we would have heard something about this during the extensive vetting process back in 2007 when … what? There WAS no vetting?

Keep spinning, Lefties. Keep spinning that narrative, and pray that more people than not have no long-term memories …

  • lillymckim

Unfortunately Dana agrees with Obama on Syria.

  • Howard Roark

Is there even 1 example of Barack Obama persuading anybody to change their mind on even a small matter? He is great at charming True Believers in Hope and Change.

But charming friends and idol worshippers is easy. Pres. Precious Snow Flake a life-long winner of participation trophies didn’t persuade even 1 GOP congressman to support ObamaCare.

The sphincter can go talk to himself on Tuesday ….

C’mon, the press gets the party started before President Kardashian or his wife even begin a speech. I seem to recall a morning show, forget which, that said that Michelle Obama’s speech, planned for that afternoon, was EXPECTED to be a ‘real tear jerker.’ Duh One actually had the gall to tell reporters to ‘lower their expectations’ of a speech he was to give on the anniversary of MLK Jr’s ‘Dream’ speech.

Hell, this speech’ll be ‘historic’, ‘game changing’, ‘moment in time to be remembered’…

Ok, I’m starting to feel the need to vomit, so I’ll stop now.
