Pope Benedict XVI tweeted his support for the hundreds of thousands of pro-life activists expected in Washington, D.C., today for the 40th annual March for Life. He offered prayers in English and Spanish that “political leaders will protect the unborn and promote a culture of life.”

Paging the mainstream media: Does a tweet from the pope make the March for Life newsworthy? Bueller? Bueller?

I’m not Catholic but I couldn’t agree more strongly with the Pope.

I happily add my prayers to the Pope’s along with safe travels to all participants, and that the media takes notice.

I know the last part is asking the impossible, but God is all about the impossible.

I’m not a big fan of this Pope, but he got this one correct. He needs to call that Catholic Hospital in Colorado and set them straight.

    Vile man.

    Go Pope.

Not a Catholic, but admire and respect this Pope. I thank him for his support.

He has felt that way since he was in the Hitler youth from 1941-45.

(yawns) Come back when you have an original argument, bot.

Ok, this pope was the man in charge of the cover up regarding the massive child rape scandal. He was the one who over saw the moving of child predators to different parishes without warning anyone and not keeping the rapist priests from ministering children or taking them on over night excursions. The molestation of a child is a murder of the soul and I think he should clean up his child raping church before he croaks about anything else.

Thanks, JohnMartin Mull, for giving a good example of what WMAL talk show host Chris Plante points out regularly: a leftist changing the subject and attacking again.
