White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders fired back at critics angry over the revoked hard pass of CNN’s Jim Acosta, tweeting last night “We stand by our decision to revoke this individual’s hard pass. We will not tolerate the inappropriate behavior clearly documented in this video”:

However, some are saying the video Sanders shared was doctored to make Acosta’s “gesture look more aggressive.” From Mike Allen’s “Axio AM” email newsletter:
-
- Axios media trends expert Sara Fischer tells me that the video tweeted by the White House apparently is edited to shift speeds of footage where Acosta and the staffer make contact, possibly making his gesture look more aggressive.
More:
This video is doctored. It's slowed down and then sped up at the moment Acosta's hand comes down to make it look like he's doing a karate chop or something. This is shameful propaganda. It's Orwellian. https://t.co/in8m3iHn18

Here is Sarah Sanders’ tweet pushing the doctored video in support of her lie about @Acosta. What a profound disgrace she is for behaving like this. The logical soul-destroying conclusion to working for Trump, but nevertheless https://t.co/gOpYQVzuVt pic.twitter.com/NO4RvDgGq7
