Disney employees who've been 'forced into an impossible and unsustainable position' over 'Don't Say Gay' bill walk out

We’re old enough to remember when Disney CEO Bob Chapek offered insight into Gina Carano’s firing over a tweet, explaining that Disney stands for “values that are universal.” At Twitchy reported, Chapek recently buckled under employee pressure and called Florida Ron DeSantis to express his disappointment and concern of the Parental Rights in Education bill, better known in the media as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill. Chapek then sent an email to Disney employees to address their pain, frustration, and sadness over Disney not condemning the “Don’t Say Gay” bill earlier.

We hear often never to apologize to the rage mob, because it will never be enough. Weeks later, Disney employees are still holding a nationwide walkout over Chapek’s delayed condemnation of the “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

Daniel Arkin reports for NBC News:

“The recent statements and lack of action by TWDC [The Walt Disney Co.] leadership regarding the ‘Don’t Say Gay or Trans’ bill have utterly failed to match the magnitude of the threat to LGBTQIA+ safety represented by this legislation,” the employees said.

“We have been forced into an impossible and unsustainable position. We must now take action to convince TWDC to protect employees and their families in the face of such open and unapologetic bigotry.”

The magnitude of the threat of not holding discussions about sexuality in kindergarten?

They’re really overplaying their hands talking about “the magnitude of the threat.” Please, explain how this bill threatens the LGBTQIA+ community.
