The Democrats are so predictable. They’ve been chomping at the bit to find something, anything to impeach President Donald Trump over. The chorus of Democrats who are angry over Trump taking out Iran’s nuclear facilities has already started singing its tired impeachment tune. Hakeem Jeffries is one of the first.
Here’s his statement. (READ)
JUST IN: House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries said, "President Trump misled the country about his intentions," to bring peace to the region in the wake of a strike on Iranian nuclear sites. https://t.co/FNwww0TH0Y pic.twitter.com/EVMRysaREX

Oh, please, Hakeem Jeffries and @ABC crying over Trump’s Iran strike? The only thing they’ve ever supported is riots tearing up American cities. Meanwhile, Fetterman’s out here sounding like the lone Democrat with a functioning brain. 🙄 #Priorities

The left is complaining, which means it was probably the right move.

No one cares what Obama’s Temu brother has to say.
— Gina Milan (@ginamilan_) June 22, 2025
Senator John Fetterman came out in favor of Trump’s strikes.
Commenters are pushing back on Jeffries’ assertion that Trump misled anybody.
No. He didn't mislead us at all. If you didn't see this coming, you weren't paying attention.

Frigging whiner! Clearly raised by gentle-parenting. Trump gave Iran EVERY chance to give up the nukes. Iran defied him - They literally said NO TALKS! What was the next step, Jeffries!? Say “pretty please”? Say “Don’t”? NO! You give them a choice. They made their choice.

We gave them months for peace. We threw them every peaceful scenario imaginable and they still rejected it. So Jeffries is beyond ret*****

We knew exactly what he was going to do if Iran would not agree to stop developing nuclear weapons. He said over and over that Iran could not have nuclear weapons. Period.
— Auntie L (@AuntieLisa) June 22, 2025
It was no secret that Trump had said for years that Iran could not have nuclear weapons. Eventually, Iran’s refusal to cooperate would come to a head.
Many posters noted that Trump’s strikes signaled the end of former President Barack Obama’s expensive vision for Iran.

Has anyone seen my pallets of cash?

Trump just blew up a lot of them.
Trump wisely didn’t tell Democrats because they would have shared the details with ‘journalists’ and Iran itself.
Haha, no he faked your treasonous asses out, as you idiots would have 100% warned Iran.
— Cuyose (@Cuyose) June 22, 2025
Did he want updates of the bombers locations so he can leak it to Iranian spies?
— The Highland Knight (@KnightHighland) June 22, 2025
Leakers not leaking Hakeem, bless your heart
— ARRESTDEMOCRATS (@graywolf9195) June 22, 2025
The Pentagon was tight as a drum. No leaks got out of there, much to the chagrin of the Democrat Party. Jeffries joins Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Sean Casten, and Bernie Sanders in calling for Trump's impeachment over the Iran strikes. That number will surely grow over the weekend.
