white house 6-1

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest wouldn’t talk about Hillary Clinton’s lack of cooperation with the Inspector General’s probe regarding her private email server.

Watch below:

During a briefing on Tuesday, a reporter asked Earnest if the White House thought Clinton “should have cooperated” with the investigation.

Earnest passed the buck to Clinton’s team, saying that the Inspector General “took a broad look at what the department of state needs to do to ensure that they are in compliance with the relevant rules.”

He said the investigation also intended to verify the records were managed in a manner that followed “the commitment that the president has placed on government transparency.”

Repeated attempts to get Earnest to talk about Clinton’s emails by journalists failed to get a response from the speaker.
