The reference to Chris Hanson (sic) presumably is Chris Hansen, best known for hosting a Dateline NBC segment called To Catch a Predator.

Maroney, the gold medal-winning gymnast, turns 17 years old today.  The talk radio host who wrote about her genitals, Anthony Cumia, is 51 years old. He is co-host of the Opie and Anthony show.

The age of consent in California, where McKayla reportedly lives, is 18.
