“Morning Joe” continues to be a shining star on MSNBC. Either that’s because it’s a fantastic program, or it’s because MSNBC’s viewers aren’t all that discerning and the network honestly cannot or just doesn’t care about looking for something better.
Anyway, it’s still on every weekday, which means that every weekday, some poor schmucks out there get to listen to Joe Scarborough share what he believes to be a pearl of wisdom but is in fact just pure garbage.
And anyone who tuned into the show today got to hear this little nugget:
MSNBC's @JoeNBC mocks yesterday's Twitter hearings & the #TwitterFiles, calling them both "a witch hunt": "These things never, ever produce the punch they expect." @jrpsaki: The hearing was "a word salad of right-wing craziness" pic.twitter.com/IDsurerxmx

Just call this show "Morning White House." https://t.co/ZpWuOQH1FA

And you thought it was dismissive when Jamie Raskin called the hearings a “trivial pursuit” and AOC said the proceedings were a waste of time and resources. Joe Scarborough and Co. are outright cackling about The Twitter Files, and former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki, of all people, is complaining about “a word salad of right-wing craziness” (we know that Karine Jean-Pierre makes her look articulate by comparison, but Jen served up plenty of word salad during her time at that podium).
So she's familiar with the term "word salad". Funny she would use that.

Anyway, just because the “Morning Joe” crew doesn’t want The Twitter Files to be significant or for the House Oversight Committee hearings to uncover further evidence of Twitter execs’ collusion with the FBI and DOJ doesn’t mean that all this isn’t a very big deal. The fact that they’re twisting themselves into pretzels to downplay the revelations suggests that this stuff is indeed a very big deal.
They hung on every word of Nadler that he had the goods and let it go on for 4+ years. But now are we to believe that with the real goods it's a witch hunt?

If you define “witch hunt” as “anything that makes the Biden administration and Left look bad,” then yeah, it’s a witch hunt.
These people spent years hyperventilating over Trump. And then pretend a real story is nothing. It’s honestly scary how fake the media is. https://t.co/EsVJChd4bb

The game always ends up being denial eventually.
Understand the media is suppose to be our watchdog against this kind of stuff but yet here they are in bed with it. https://t.co/B42IyoCIBW
