Earlier, we told you about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’ vile take on the women of Iran taking to the streets and burning their headscarves in protest of the regime’s murder of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini. Here it is again, just in case you need an excuse to get angry at AOC:
Solidarity with the courageous women and allies in Iran protesting for their freedom.
Mahsa Amini was senselessly murdered by the same patriarchal and autocratic forces repressing women the world over.
The right to choose belongs to us all, from hijabs to reproductive care.

Not to be outdone, “The View” cohost Joy Behar offered up a similar and similarly heinous take on the ongoing protests on today’s show:
Joy Behar compares the goals of American abortion activists to the goals of the Iranian protesters:
"We should be standing in solidarity in this country for men who are trying to control us." pic.twitter.com/7kZdCSGM1Y

Is there a memo that went out or something? What women seeking abortions in this country are up against is not even in the same universe as what Iran’s women are facing.
Leave it to the most privileged white women in America to compare themselves to women who are actually suffering under a dictatorship that actually oppresses them.

So Joy Behar is comparing women in America to what women are going through and Iran, unbelievable. Even Ana Navarro didn't think she was right. https://t.co/IkNMoggWfM

When Ana Navarro is telling you you’ve gone too far off the lefty rails, that’s when you know you done messed up.

When “The View” inevitably gets buried, it will be because they dug their own grave.
