“The View” went all-in on Juneteenth Monday — just look at the set. NewsBusters’ Nicholas Fondacaro watched it so we didn’t have to and provided the following clips. We learned from Sara Haines that Juneteenth feels like a more authentic celebration of freedom than Independence Day, while Joy Behar added that it was especially important on Juneteenth to acknowledge the effort to take away blacks’ right to vote.
"I do feel really silly…" The View's Sara Haines says Juneteenth is a "more authentic" "celebration" of "American freedom" than the Fourth of July. pic.twitter.com/xyIvkY8Yq3

Behar says the reason it's important to celebrate Juneteenth now is that "we should be aware on a day like this that voting rights are being systematically taken away from African Americans and other people too in this country."
She did not provide any evidence of this claim. pic.twitter.com/cID8rdau0t— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) June 20, 2022
Sunny Hostin noted that her family didn’t celebrate the Fourth of July growing up because her father and mother were both students of history. Also, beware of what you’re hearing about alleged critical race theory being taught in schools.
"I love what I'm hearing"
Sunny Hostin brags about growing up and her family not celebrating the Fourth of July.
"My father was a student of history," she added. "Be very vigilant when you're hearing about alledged CRT in your schools"

Whoopi Goldberg (fake name) touts learning "all the things" about black history in America from her mom.
Is this where she also got her warped view of the Holocaust, which she claimed wasn't about race and was just two white groups fighting amongst themselves? pic.twitter.com/poLThCEuoS— Nicholas Fondacaro (@NickFondacaro) June 20, 2022

If there is a greater, more toxic concentration of leftist ignorance in America than The View, I don't know what that is:
And if they want to celebrate black emancipation, Lincoln's signing the Declaration would be the date — not the date it took that news to reach Texas, ffs.

Each is its own thing and should be. Comparing does disservice to both. Idiotic.

We just had an election that the left claims had the most votes in history, yet they are systemically taking away voting rights…how does that make any sense😂😂😂

How long ago was the primary in Georgia? I guess weeks is too long of a memory to expect from these huge brainers

@JoyVBehar is a certifiable idiot, as are the other members of the View. Sad that so many women, who are also idiots, and watch them, believe them.
