'Might want to delete this one': This 2012 tweet from Eric Swalwell has aged like fine milk [pic]

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell is smack-dab in the middle of an awkward situation, what with the whole being-targeted-by-a-Chinese-lady-spy thing.

The last thing he needs right now is people digging up stuff that makes people raise their eyebrows even higher.

Sucks to be him, then:

See, this is interesting because the spy, Christine (or Fang) Fang, was a member of the Cal State East Bay Chinese Student Association at the time Swalwell was at that event.

From Axios’ story:

In 2011, Fang enrolled as a student at California State University East Bay, where she served as the president of the school’s Chinese Student Association and president of the campus chapter of Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs (APAPA), a national organization that encourages Asian Americans to get involved in civic affairs.

So.

Oof, indeed.

It did not.

We’d better get a screenshot in case he does.

Preserved for posterity.
