As Twitchy told you, Nate Silver sees echoes of Hillary Clinton’s mistreatment in the New York Times’ recent article about Elizabeth Warren’s advisers’ criticism of the way she handled her DNA test results.
But Silver had nothing on Soledad O’Brien, who’s taking all this extra-hard:
Don’t make stupid campaign mistakes and be female is the takeaway. The media likes to pull strong women down. And if you’re not ‘likeable’ we will call you a bitch in a million ways and make you pay. https://t.co/MuIv3ltRim

Warren’s offense wasn’t that she’s female; it’s that she’s an idiot. And it wasn’t a “stupid campaign mistake,” either. She lied about her heritage repeatedly to advance her academic and political careers. She submitted plagiarized recipes to a Native American cookbook, for crying out loud! Her mistake was thinking that she could get away with it.
And Soledad’s mistake is thinking that she can blame Warren’s self-made mess on sexism.
Or you could not tell ppl that you have Native American bloodlines when you're whiter than the driven snow

Yeah, no. The takeaway is "don't pretend to be part of a minority in an attempt to boost your credibility."
It has exactly nothing to do with her gender.
If you think women are disadvantaged in the media, then you don't pay attention at all.

She lied and got caught. That’s not a mistake.
